" What I Found In My Email" Mondays. Vol.2 - Issue 1
Welcome to the new year. I guess we are back in the swing of tings now. Here is the first issue of the 2008 edition of, "What I found in my email" Mondays.
This video was sent to me by a friend who does a lot of fishing. I am actually surprised that the fish, give it's size, didn't sink the boat.
Can anyone tell what kind of fish that is?

Hi Pap, it's almost impossible to be sure given the distance but it strikes me as a catfish. They're usually bottom dwellers and the line off the back of the boat was pretty long so maybe it hit bottom but they also feed mostly at night.
And I've never had them put up too big of a fight which might explain why the boat actually made it in. If that was a bass, the boat would have going under and resurfacing in different places all over the lake.

I thought it might also be a catfish, but regardless this made for an amusing post.
