I Love Traffic Presents

Traffic present? Yes, a traffic present is when you get up in the morning, check your stats and you have over 9000 unique visitors for the day. Normally I have about 800 uniques on average per day but yesterday, 9000!

Evidently the good folks that are a part of the Stumbleupon community just love my "What I found in my email" series. I have been writing about marketing, advertising, internet industry news, web design, graphic design and other topics related to my industry for quite a while now. It wasn't until I started putting up fun little posts like these that I started getting some SERIOUS traffic. Go figure.

This is the third time that I have been "stumbled" and have received a big spike in traffic. The funny thing is, every post that has went big, I did not initiate the stumble, someone else did. All the ones that I "discovered" myself, have died a quiet death.

So here's a shout to all the stumblers out there. Thanks for your kind words and participation.
