Traffic Presents Part Deux
Last month was a pretty good traffic month at The Big Bald Blog. Here's the final breakdown for March.
Unique Visitors - 94,113
Page Views - 183,696
Total Hits - 2,008,009 (that one deserved a bold)
Bandwidth - 70 GB
My biggest day (March 17th) had about 16,000 visits. RSS subs went up about 10 but the comments increased significantly. It feels pretty good to say I got over 2 million hits last month. I know, I know, hits really don't mean anything, BUT it's still pretty cool to say.
My server worked great without a single hiccup. This is good to know since I am hosting a large number of client websites.
Now all I need to do is have someone show me how to monetize my site properly. Anyone want to take BigPappa under their wing or adopt The Big Bald Blog as a pet project?

Congrats! You're right, the 2M hits are an impressive number - but the most important numbers are things like the number of visitors, how long they stayed, how many pages they read, and how many comments you got. To me, to get that many hits and have only 125 RSS subs with that huge amount of bandwidth screams problem. Do you have videos or something that is causing your bandwidth to be that high?

Had I even the slightest idea of how to make a blog profitable, I would have you tucked under a wing instantly. Unfortunately, I haven't even managed to pay for my platform provider yet...not with the blog anyway. Nice going on the great, nay, awesome stats! Pappa Rocks!
@JPratt - It was due in part from a Stumble that went huge! It was one of my "what I found in my email" post that someone stumbled. That post, the one about the RV and the trailer trash, had a ton of pictures in it. So I can account for a large percentage of the bandwidth there. The duration and pages per visitor are real low because of it. There were 61 comments on that post, second only to my first contest post (90) where I gave away an iPod.
