You know them, you love them, and most of you can sing the words to them. They are advertising jingles. A short tune with lyrics that contribute to a brand's awareness and below are the top ten jingles from the last 100 years.

I remember 7 out of the 10. I am very surprised that the McDonalds Big Mac jingle didn't make it on the list. You know the one; "two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun."
What else is missing?

Good Lord I really feel old.
I'm a Pepper, She's a Pepper, Were a Pepper, wouldn't you like to be a Pepper too...Be a Pepper, Drink Dr. Pepper...
OH yeah. Good one. The Dr Pepper jingle. I completely forgot about that one. One that always sticks in my head lately is the Oreilly's Auto Parts. O O O Oreilleeeeeeees. Auto Parts.
Well, the Big Mac thing might not be considered a jingle, if the definition includes music. What about the Coke ads that used the song "I'd like to teach the world to sing..."
@bob - I wonder if the Coke ads didn't make it because the song wasn't an original piece of music written for the product.
