Bigfoot Has Been Found?
Uhhh, I don't know how to say this but it appears that they have found a Bigfoot! If you saw Fox News this morning, you would have seen the picture. It is not on Fox's site yet but the same picture has surfaced on The Inquisitr's site.

According to the press release on the site:
"A body that may very well be the body of the creature commonly known as “Bigfoot” has been found in the woods in northern Georgia.
DNA evidence and photo evidence of the creature will be presented in a press conference on Friday, August 15th from 12 Noon to 1:00pm at the Cabana Hotel-Palo Alto at 4290 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, California, 94306. The press conference will not be open to the public. It will only be open to credentialed members of the press.
Here are some of the vital statistics on the “Bigfoot” body:
- The creature is seven feet seven inches tall.
- It weighs over five hundred pounds.
- The creature looks like it is part human and part ape-like.
- It is male.
- It has reddish hair and blackish-grey eyes.
- It has two arms and two legs, and five fingers on each hand andfive toes on each foot.
- The feet are flat and similar to human feet.
- Its footprint is sixteen and three-quarters inches long and five and three-quarters inches wide at the heel.
- From the palm of the hand to the tip of the middle finger, its hands are eleven and three-quarters inches long and six and one-quarter inches wide.
- The creatures walk upright. (Several of them were sighted on the same day that the body was found.)
- The teeth are more human-like than ape-like.
- DNA tests are currently being done and the current DNA and photo evidence will be presented at the press conference on Friday, August 15th."
I will remain skeptical until the press conference on the 15th. What does this mean? I don't think it means anything until we hear the results of the DNA tests. My guess - clever hoax.
Do you believe in Bigfoot?

I smell a viral campaign.
Do you think?
hmmm. I doubt it's real, but I love a little sci-fi. :-)
Hey, that's not bigfoot, that's my cousin Harry!
me vote for hoax
It looks like a gorilla suit mask.
Since I was a kid, the thought of something like this existing has always fascinated me. I can't tell for certain from the color photo, but the face almost looks a little fake. I hope there's some truth to this though.
a good viral campaign would've had servers to handle the load ;). I remember one time telling a friend I backpacked in the mountains of Washington state growing up, he asked in all seriousness, "have you seen a bigfoot?" Turns out he was a huge believer in them. I said no and that the only bigfoot in that area are grizzles and we are sure to carry our bear repellent in the form of a .44 mog. Fun Post
@ Josh, I have a cabin in N. Wisconsin and I have a mama bear and 2 cubs up there right now. I keep a shotgun and a pistol handy at all times. Just in case I accidentally get between mama and the babies.
@mark. We will find out on Friday if it is real or not.
hoping it's reql
Maybe they are taking "messing with sasquatch" in a new direction. I suddenly have a hankering for beef jerky.
@easy e - I was thinking the same thing. I love jerky.
If it is real this is a huge break fro science. They may be a missing ring on the evolutionary chain.
" Scientists believe they have discovered a new group of giant apes in the jungles of central Africa.
The animals, with characteristics of both gorillas and chimpanzees, have been sighted in the north of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
According to local villagers, the apes are ferocious, and even capable of killing lions.
The UK magazine New Scientist is to publish its report about the mysterious creatures next week.
If they are a new species of primate, it could be one of the most important wildlife discoveries in decades. "
If we can recently discover a new species like this, why should it be so hard to believe that we can also discover a 'Bigfoot'?
I do not believe in Bigfoot and my boyfriend does. What does that mean?
@sudiegirl - Yeah, it turns out that it was all a hoax. I wanted to believe I really do. I even have a plaster cast of a foot print from several years back.
